At totally sustainable we offer Extraflame pellet (biomass) boilers. We have working models here on display at our showroom in Carmarthenshire. Feedback from our existing customers is that their pellet boilers and room heaters are a focal point in their living room and kitchens.
You do not have to hide these beautiful biomass boilers away in a plant room as their elegant Italian design and living flame features are a great addition to any room. Our pellet boilers are manual top loaders and are easy to load by hand.
Pellets can be purchased in bags of 10kg and if you buy by the pallet load which is usually one tonne they are usually delivered free of charge. The pellets need to be stored in a damp free environment.
You may be eligible for a government backed scheme which is the renewable heat incentive, also know as RHI. You may be eligible to receive quarterly payments made over 7 years for a domestic customer.
These payments are designed to help with the costs of installing a biomass system. Pellet boilers and room heaters are a great alternative to oil, calor or solid fuel. This clean sustainable product can provide good controllable heating and hot water to any size of home or business.

The current RHI domestic tariff as of November 2016 for biomass installations that are eligible is 4.68 p/kwh.
A typical 3 bedroomed property which requires 25,000 kwh for their space and water heating may potentially qualify for RHI payments of £8190 payable over 7 years.
